Day 2 -

It is off to an early start as coffee and breakfast are enjoyed in the dining area before embarking on a morning tour of Cape Town and all that this city has to offer.

The best view of Cape Town is seen from the top of Table Mountain. The cableway was opened in 1929 and takes you to the highest point at 1085m. After all the mountaineering, lunch will be on the top of the mountain.

Then it is off to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. World-renowned since 1913 for the beauty and diversity of the Cape fauna and flora it display, and for the magnificence of its settings against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain.

Groot Constantia is our next stop. Enjoy a tour of history and wine in true Cape Dutch style. Mother Nature smiled when she prepared the Constantia Valley. She bestowed on her the influence of the sun, wind, oceans and fertile soil, and then challenged her to have vineyards and make excellent wines. Here we will take you on an exquisite wine tasting tour and sorry a museum with a difference.

The late afternoon is devoted to a scenic drive through some of the most picturesque areas in Cape Town. We visit the penguin colony as well.

Early supper in true French style at the La Colombe Restaurant. The eatery is filled with the colors and flavors of the French countryside.

Then it’s back to the Spa. Guests are invited to relax in the spa’s jacuzzi and maybe have some good South African wine, to end this lovely day in Cape Town.

Overnight: Private 4* Spa        Meals: Full Board

Day 3 -

Breakfast the most important meal of the day will be enjoyed before the days adventures start.

A more sedate way of viewing the historical landmarks is on offer. A horse drawn carriage will take you to The Castle and there we can explore this old landmark.
The carriage tour is guided and your experienced guide will provide an interesting account of the history and occurrences that happened throughout Cape Town’s wide and varied history.
The Tour takes approximately 75 minutes (depending on the traffic of course) and the tour times are scheduled to allow visitors to the Castle of Good Hope to experience the tours around the Castle prior to or after the carriage tour. This is a unique South African experience

Lunch at The V&A will set the tone for a more sophisticated afternoon ahead. Shopping at your leisure. Just a note to the ladies - get that little black number for the night out to the theater.

Signal Hill and Rhodes memorial is next. The most beautiful view of the other side of Cape Town.

Relax back at the guesthouse before we have a night out on the town. Star Dust restaurant Theatrical Dining at its best. Performing waiters, amazing food. In short an unforgettable experience.
A total new experience to night life in Cape Town.

Overnight: Private 4* Spa        Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 4 -

Breakfast at one of the scenic spots in the garden will be the way we start our day. Stellenbosch is home to some of the finest architecture in the country and also creates the backdrop to some of the country’s most beautiful and historically significant towns. Plenty of shopping here……………

We visit the town of Franschhoek and devote some time to experiencing some wine tasting where some of South Africa's finest can be sampled. The wine producing region is one of the highlights of this South African Tour. Food from chocolates, cheese and homemade ice-cream can be seen and of course tasted.

Art indulgence with the Franschhoek Meander. This art, crafts and antiques route meanders through the village and surrounding areas and visits skilled craftsmen, specialty shops and the Hugenote Memorial Museum.

Then a little heritage and history. Nelson Mandela was incarcerated in the local Drakenstein prison just before being freed in 1990. Visit this famous jail and walk “the long walk to freedom” of his release.

We will treat our guests to a lovely dinner out under the night sky.
